1) Select UV‑resistant shock cord sized to expected loads (1/8" for light, 1/4"–1/2" for heavier). 2) Install small anchor points (stainless pad eyes or sewn webbing loops) under cushion or on frame. 3) Loop shock cord through anchors and over/around cushion, tying with secure knot or crimping with cord ends. 4) Use as supplement to non‑elastic tie or for low‑wind zones only; avoid as sole anchor in high wind. Note: shock cord degrades with UV/ozone—inspect yearly.
